Dr. Steve Smith, Dentist

Dr. Steve Smith is originally from Spaniard’s Bay, Newfoundland. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Memorial University in 1992 and then graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 1996. After practicing in Newfoundland and Alberta for several years, he moved to Dartmouth in 2003.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as playing golf and downhill skiing.

Dr. Mark Ripley, Dentist

Dr. Mark Ripley graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 2002. After practicing in British Columbia, he returned home to Nova Scotia and joined Ocean Park Dental in 2006.

Dr. Ripley provides a full range of dental services in helping patients look and feel their best. He actively pursues ongoing continuing education programs and has been an active member of the East Coast Endodontic Study Club for the past 9 years.

When not in the office, Dr. Ripley spends his free time with his family and is always on the go with his young children.

Dr. Sean Davidson, Dentist

Dr. Sean Davidson decided he wanted to be a dentist at the age of 10. He obtained both his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University. He is excited to be practicing in an area close to where he grew up, in Bass River, N.S.

Dr. Davidson enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and is committed to continued dental education to provide the best care to his patients.

He enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews, as well as staying active with snowboarding, water skiing and playing squash. He also enjoys travelling, cooking and playing guitar.

Heather, Office Manager

Heather has been involved in the field of dentistry for the past 30 years since her graduation from the Atlantic School of Denturism and the last 20 of those years have been at Ocean Park Dental. Heather comes from a close-knit family and she feels that Ocean Park is an extension of that. When she isn’t making sure that things are running smoothly at the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her family.
